01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Add melted butter and mix well.
03 - Whisk in eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
04 - Sprinkle flour, baking soda, and salt over wet ingredients. Gently fold until just combined (do not overmix).
05 - Fold in chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
06 - Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Smooth top and sprinkle with extra chocolate chips if desired. Bake for 50–55 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
07 - Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
