02 - If desired, insert a lollipop stick or skewer into the base of each Peep to create an easy-to-hold handle for dipping.
03 - Place chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each, until completely smooth and melted (approximately 1–2 minutes total).
04 - Holding each Peep by the stick or the base, submerge it into the melted chocolate. Rotate to ensure even coating, then allow excess chocolate to drip off.
05 - Immediately sprinkle with your chosen decorations while the chocolate remains wet to ensure proper adhesion.
06 - Arrange the coated Peeps on the prepared baking sheet. Continue dipping and decorating until all Peeps are completed.
07 - Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes or until the chocolate coating has fully set. Serve chilled or allow to come to room temperature before enjoying.
