Collagen Fruit Jellies (Printable)

Soft, chewy fruit snacks infused with collagen peptides for a nourishing, guilt-free bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 1 cup (240 ml) 100% fruit juice (orange, mixed berries, or apple)
02 - 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, optional, to taste

→ Collagen & Gelling

03 - 2 tablespoons (about 20 g) grass-fed collagen peptides
04 - 3 tablespoons (about 30 g) unflavored gelatin powder

# Directions:

01 - Pour the fruit juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes to bloom.
02 - Place the saucepan over low heat and stir constantly until the gelatin dissolves completely. Do not allow the mixture to boil.
03 - Remove from heat. Add the collagen peptides and honey or maple syrup if using, stirring thoroughly until fully incorporated.
04 - Transfer the mixture into silicone molds or a small baking dish lined with parchment paper.
05 - Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the jellies are completely firm and set.
06 - Once fully set, remove the jellies from the molds. If using a baking dish, cut into bite-sized pieces with a paring knife.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • They taste like gummy candy but pack protein and collagen, so you can feel genuinely good about eating them.
  • The whole thing comes together in under twenty minutes of active work before the fridge does the rest.
02 -
  • If the gelatin does not bloom properly before heating you will get rubbery clumps that no amount of stirring can fix.
  • Boiling the mixture destroys the gelling power of gelatin entirely, so keep the heat low and patient.
03 -
  • Spray your molds with the tiniest whisper of oil before pouring in the mixture and they will release perfectly every single time.
  • Add a teaspoon of lemon juice or zest to brighten any flavor and make it taste less flat and more like real fruit.
